Questions churches ask
What is the best video deacon training for churches?
Most churches start with Johnny Hunt’s The Deacon I Want To Be — used in tens of thousands of congregations. Jim Henry’s Growing in Character and Partners in Ministry are the follow-on series for the same deacon body.
Do deacon training videos include the deacon’s wife?
Yes. Hunt’s series has a full session on the deacon and his wife. Henry’s character series also addresses the deacon’s home. Churches often invite wives to that session or to the whole study.
Can a deacon body stream the training instead of a DVD kit?
Yes. Each deacon series is available as streaming for that title, or inside STREAMALL at $199.95/year for the full catalog. Workbooks are reproducible for the purchasing church.
