JIM & KAYE JOHNS devote their full time and energy to PrayerPower Ministries which they launched in 1994. Prior to this, Kaye was president of a nonprofit-teacher-training organization and host of a nationally syndicated radio program. Jim was owner of an advertising agency and had a background in broadcasting. Since 1994, the Johns have traveled extensively conducting prayer conferences, seminars and retreats, helping individuals and churches make personal and corporate prayer the central element of their lives. They have developed Praying to Make a Difference for individual Christians, weekly Bible study classes and prayer groups,

and to prepare individuals for group leadership in prayer. The Johns provide lay leadership for the prayer ministry at the Prestonwood Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, organizing and leading small group activity in such studies as Disciple's PrayerLife, Experiencing God, and The Mind of Christ. They currently produce a daily radio program entitled "PrayerPower," the PrayerPower Newsletter and various other publications. The Johns live in Dallas.
